How to add a printer


The Columbia Sleep Inn uses the Intenet Printing Protocol (IPP) standard to handle wireless/wired printing. The printout(s) can be picked up at the Service Desk. A service fee of 10¢ per page will be charged.

Select the instructions below that correspond with the Operating System on your computer.

Windows 2000/XP


NOTE: You will need to have administrative rights to the computer to setup the printer.

    To setup a printer in Windows 2000/XP, follow these instructions:
  1. Begin by clicking the start button in the lower-left corner of the desktop. This will display a list of available options
  2. Next, select Run..., type "\\www.columbiasleepinn.com\GuestPrinter" in the "Open" box
  3. Click "OK"
  4. Click yes to "Do you want Windows to set up printer"

Once the printer queue window appears, you have successfully configured the printer. You will now be able to print from your computer to the 'GuestPrinter" from any Windows application while on the Columbia Sleep Inn premises.
